For over three decades, D. Tracy Ward, Architect / Benchmark Design PC, has been dedicated to the design of beautiful places - interior and exterior spaces, structures and site arrangements in both private residential as well as urban commercial settings.

Our projects are inspired largely by history’s successful heritage . . . from classical antiquity to southern Main Streets . . . models and patterns that fruitfully achieved a timeless essence where the aging process only makes it better.

We craft designs that connect generations by combining historical research & reference with authentic classical prototypes & precedent — giving every “place” its own exceptional and individual resolution, substance, aesthetic, and timeless legacy.
