120 North Main Street
#19030-118-120 (Alpharetta, GA)
Our design comprises two 3-story buildings - one fronts North Main Street (A), while the other (B) is perched behind it on an equal plane with inconspicuous but ample parking in between and below. The environs immediately surrounding the buildings will be enhanced to include an extra-wide front sidewalk and entryway which will improve the transition to the town green as well as entice the public to make use of the walkways north and south. The architectural style utilized is in the Neoclassical style of the 19th Century incorporating the enduring scale and forms of antiquity. Building A adjoins an existing Tudor Revival house (to be renovated and repurposed to commercial use) and was designed to complement its historic architectural features. Building B continues the Neoclassical styling and yet reveals its own identity and personality. The brick and window details (fenestration pattern) blend well with the newly constructed building next door at 100 North Main without copying or repeating.
