Benchmark Design, PC proudly holds its western office on a small historic Main Street in Flora, Mississippi… a late 1800’s railroad town NW of the state capital of Jackson with a small population of +/-2,000 residents.  Built in the early 1900’s, we gutted the approximately 30x85 single story brick structure and began designing the interior layout to suit three primary components: (1) architect’s office utilizing the storefront along Main St.; (2) a combination library/conference room in the center of the 85’ depth building; (3) entered from the rear service side, a private residential flat that serves as our home for periods when living/working/playing in MS.  In the works now is a New Orleans styled courtyard in the rear, which faces a small police station we designed back in 2012.
