This building was designed as an option to another designed structure in a larger masterplan … trying to appeal to estimated market needs and wants.  This idea was (and hopefully will still go somewhere!) to provide a home for a new whiskey distillery, or at least the public events & promotion center for a historically inspired product called “Torch”.  The building is a replica of the 1892-1954 (active years) Main Building at Ellis Island.  Portions of the facility will utilize actual copper salvaged from a renovation to the Statue of Liberty during the 1980’s.
