The story of First Baptist Cumming chronicles a church on the move on mission with God. From its beginnings in 1835, the First Baptist campus, originally called Cumming Baptist Church, has outgrown five worship centers. To facilitate the growth and expansion of its ministries, the church relocated to its third campus in 2001.  First Baptist Church’s towering steeple is more than a landmark on the North Georgia horizon – it’s a testimony of God’s faithfulness to His church. First Baptist Cumming has a great heritage that is exceeded only by its vision to make an eternal difference in people’s lives.  Today’s campus spans almost 40 acres, blending facilities for children, teenagers, and ministry staff.  Planning & Design by Benchmark Design, PC has helped guide new planned facilities and a master plan that better merges with the ever expanding urban fabric of the City of Cumming and the County of Forsyth.
